Bachelorette: BRIDE Edition

White isn't just for walking down the aisle....it's perfect for your bachelorette party too. Skip the 'bachelorette sash & crown' and trade them in for a crisp white dress & flower crown. You'll look classic, festive & still be able to show off your personal style. Here at SF we firmly believe that there is NEVER a wrong time to wear a floral crown....however, wedding festivities are <<definitely>> the right time. A simple crown can make you feel like a princess...and that's exactly what you deserve when it pertains to your big day. Don't forget to accessorize....we are going crazy for our one of a kind Chain Crochet pieces right now & their are many styles suitable for any preference. However you choose to celebrate your big day...SF's got you covered; head to toe.

Here Comes the BRIDE...

Wedding season is in full swing and SF has a wedding coming up that we are all ecstatic for... Our sweet owner, Tess Labeth, is tying the knot on June 1st and we could not be happier for her. Tess was introduced to her knight in shining armor though her best friends & the rest was history. Last summer the two lovebirds traveled to Italy together and Cody asked Tess to be his forever on a beautiful pier in Venice. Tess + Cody truly are the perfect pair and we cannot wait to see their beautiful wedding.

All this  w e d d i n g  talk has us inspired... we will be posting a series of wedding related posts to show the bride how to dress for your bachelorette, showers, rehearsal dinner & honeymoon attire. And as a guest.... we didn't forget about you either, we have outfit inspiration for a bachelorette, showers, rehearsal dinner, & wedding.

SF Girl: Grad Girl Edition

After 4 (or maybe 5) years of college- you are done! What better way to celebrate than with a dress? You may be wearing a robe but not for long...Parties will be thrown and pictures will be taken- you must be prepared.

This sweet peach number is good for all shapes and sizes. Cinching at the waist, it will create an hour glass shape and illusion of long legs with a hi-lo cut.
The perfect summer dress that doubles as a graduation dress- what's not to love? The racer-back cut will show off your shoulders without revealing too much while the simple sash around the waist is optional...We love options. Wear it now and accessorize with your diploma then wear it later with summer sandals and a tan.

Congrats Grads!

Brandy Melville + Chi Omega

Last night we closed our doors from 6 to 8 for an exclusive party. The ladies of Chi Omega sipped on bottled Cola and snacked at our fun candy bar while shopping.

The store was 20% off and the girls were given a complimentary Brandy Melville tee. The tee featured a funky skull with feminine flowers in the eyes and was available in gray and white. Needless to say, the night was filled with laughing, chatting, and numerous "Oo, I love this!"

If you are interested in having a Brandy event for your sorority, send us an email at ashley@shopsavoir.com.

Working Girl Round 2 {Pencil Addition}

Going to work isn't always the most fabulous thing but you can look fabulous...

The outfit above is a perfect mixture of work and play. A classic white button up is never a bad idea...Accompanied by some gold chains- this simple combo makes a statement. Now let's talk about the pencil skirt. We highly praise this piece of clothing. It means business but it keeps your feminine shape. The pop of orange can brighten up any cubicle.

We have coined a new term. The L.B.P.S. (little black pencil skirt). This universal item is vital in any working girls closet. Don't go too little (you are in the office) but don't go too long. Find your happy medium and pair it with practically any blouse. Accompany with a blazer or stick to a pressed collar shirt.

Embrace the pencil.

It's Chaser Thing...

It's no secret that we love a good Chaser tee here at SF...Whether it be Bowie or Blondie, you will find yourself pairing it with everything. The combo of soft cotton and fun designs makes it a closet favorite.

Use it as your base. Layer on a chambray shirt as seen above- or opt for a dressier look and add a blazer. Whatever you do, you will have everyone wondering "Where did she get that cool vintage tee!?"
